The filling in the ones pictured still on the baking sheet was the tropical cinnamon toast mixture I used on the white bread for the first TWD post. (Geez that's an awkward sentence.) I'm pretty sure it's the butter that made it spread like that, so if I did it again I think I might just use raw turbinado sugar and cinnamon.
Yep, and it's actually a pretty typical weekend for me. I think I now have enough bread stockpiled in my freezer that I won't be making any next weekend, though. What ever will I do with my Friday night? :)
