Right now my life is focused mainly on my family, food, and trying new things. I'm a writer by nature, and have been as long as I can remember, so what better way to share my adventures than by writing about them?
I'm by no means a professional chef, barely even an amateur really, but I love eating food and cooking it, and the time I spend in the kitchen is (almost) always something akin to magic for me. I love it when a recipe just comes together into something that makes someone happy, even if it's just me.
Currently, I'm participating in the group Tuesdays With Dorie, and we're baking our way through Baking With Julia, by Dorie Greenspan. The last project they tackled (Baking: From My Home to Yours) took 4 years to complete, so here's to years to come of bread, pastry, and all things delicious!
I've gone and done something a little unusual. As I've posted about before, I use Evernote to keep track of recipes I'm using, recipes I'm working on and even the recipes I'm contemplating.
